Today's special is RATATOUILLE!

Ratatouille is a classic French stew that’s fun to say (rat-tuh-TOO-ee) and fun to make 😁 and just as fun to eat.... Yum yum πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
It’s packed with fresh produce: tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini and yellow squash, bell pepper, onions and cilantro.

KOREAN MAYAK EGGS ~~ Marinated Eggs



Today, I am going to share the recipe of Mayak Eggs. This is a Korean dish which is basically soft-boiled eggs marinated in a flavoursome soy broth..
My interest in Korean Cuisine is increasingπŸ˜ƒ  I am loving the spicy, sweet and salty flavors that Korean dishes have to offer.

Mayak eggs can be best enjoyed with warm Jasmine rice. It can be eaten cold or at room temperature. These eggs will stay for 3-4 days under refrigeration.

My family loves soups and hot pots. We have tried everything from Vietnamese Pho, Japanese Ramen, Mongolian Hot Pot, Chinese Noodle Bowl to Singaporean Laksa !!

'Mandu' is Korean Dumplings and 'Jeongol' is a type of stew or casserole in Korean Cuisine

So, recently when we saw a recipe for Korean Dumpling Hot Pot, my husband and I got inspired to try making it at home.

EASY MUTTON BIRYANI

  


I am a total novice when it comes to making any type of biryani... It's one of those dishes that I did not even attempt to cook. And I didn't need to, specially with the multitude of restaurants all around meπŸ˜‹  

It took me some time to overcome this fear of cooking biryani. I tried it some weeks back, but was not satisfied with the result. The rice was a bit overcooked and the spice level was not up to my satisfaction. No harm,no foul... 
Learning from these mistakes, I reattempted cooking biryani once again this afternoon.

BAKED TROUT IN LEMON GARLIC HERB SAUCE ( WHOLE )

We are a fish loving family! Whether it is raw fish like in Sushi (not in the pic above πŸ˜‹) or fried fish or fish curry .... We love all of it! So today when we were at the store doing our weekly grocery shopping... We see a fresh lot of fish come in! So my husband and son pick up a whole trout for our dinner!

The trout itself is an extremely delicate and tasty fish.. requiring minimum ingredients or any special cooking technique!

PARSI TEA TIME SPECIAL - DAR NI PORI



Dar Ni Pori is a traditional Parsi tea time snack made with sweet lentils and dry fruits and nuts filling.
It is typically made with Tur Dal (split pigeon peas)

The filling is made in the morning and the pori is baked/cooked on the tawa just before tea time.

EASTER SPECIAL - ROASTED TURKEY



This Easter, we made a Roasted Turkey. This is a super simple recipe, although it is time consuming.
Prep time is around 3 Hours and cooking time is 3.5 hours. So, I marinated the Turkey early morning and then put it in the oven to bake around mid-morning.

So, it was all set for Easter Dinner !
